Founded in 1866 by Matthew Ewing & Hiram Bond Everest of Rochester, New York it became the 3rd largest oil company in the United States. Through a string on mergers and acquisitions Vacuum Oil eventually become part of the Mobil oil conglomerate.

Note: This item does show numerous signs of it's age. However it is structurally sound and makes a fantastic display piece.
